Gary is the 2nd team captain a position he took up two seasons ago. A good choice considering his experience, the right man for a difficult job. His main task is to try and steer a young side in the right direction and pushing players for a 1st team shirt.

Until then Gary himself was a regular member of the 1st XV. He has accurate arrows from the line out and plays with a never say die attitude. A player who always turned up for big games and never shy'd away from a battle.

Gary still plays however injuries have halted his appearances this season so far.
