A dominant afternoon for Capenhurst’s 2nd XV saw them run out 83–27 winners against Birkenhead Park 3rd XV.

Capenhurst came flying out of the blocks and quickly established control of the game, playing with attacking intent and making the most of their opportunities.

With ball in hand, Cape looked dangerous throughout, regularly breaking through the Birkenhead Park defence and putting points on the board. The forwards provided a strong platform, while the backs capitalised on the space in front of them to keep the scoreboard ticking over.

Despite Birkenhead Park showing plenty of fight and managing to cross the line themselves on several occasions, Capenhurst maintained their intensity and continued to extend their advantage as the game progressed.

The final whistle confirmed an emphatic 83–27 victory, with the 2nd XV producing an entertaining attacking display and starting the season strongly.

A fantastic team performance from start to finish and plenty of positives to take into next week away at Anselmians 3!
