The Raptors Men's team played their first match of the 2013 Superleague against Phoenix.

Phoenix got the scoring under way, before Raptors responded with a score from Paul Betts, set up by Gareth Revell. Phoenix attacked again responding with a second score. The Raptors then scored a further three times, again by Revell & Betts. Phoenix managed their final score of the half before Raptors then scored a further two touchdowns taking the half time score to 6-3.

The second half was a higher scoring game, with four scores from Phoenix and six from Raptors. Scorers for the Raptors were Revell, James Beasley, Rhys Morgan and Dylan Adams.

The Raptors put in a strong performance with only seven players, three of which, Revell, Betts and Beasley, had just returned from playing in the Home Nations Championships in Dublin. Good work, guys!
