The Raptors were well represented at the Wales Touch Nationals which were held at Swansea University on 3rd and 4th June 2017.

The Raptors were spread across the Cyclones, Titans and Warrior regions at the annual regional tournament this year. This was a great opportunity for the Raptors to play against each other over the two day long tournament.

The Titans women featuring Amberley Ruck, Amy Mallett and Sophie Twinam won the women's division. This was the first time the Titans had won a division in the history of the Wales Touch Nationals, and the first time it was not a Cyclones/Warriors final. Thw girls, who also doubled up to play in the mixed division, put on a fantastic display and were very worthy winners!

The Cyclones mixed team featuring Catrin Jones, Ciaran Monaghan, Ffion Hewlett, Jess Williams, Lewis Eynon, Louis Treyas, Sarah Barrett & Simon Gosling won thei mixed division after being undefeated all weekend.

The Warriors men's team featuring Dan Rees, Harri Stallard & Lewis Hessey won the men's division after a tense drop-off against the Cyclones. The Warriors were crowned overall winner of the 2017 tournament.

Some great Touch was on display and was good preparation for the Senior Touch Championships, Permit competition, Wales Mixed Open Tour and the Junior Touch Championships, all of which will be featuring Raptors players. More on those to follow...
