On Saturday night, the TyneMet League had ruled that Coach Joe Bell received a 2 game ban for misconduct during the Newcastle Vikings clash on 11th September 2022.

Coach Bell will begin his ban effectively immediately & will be available for the KO Cup game on 6th October against Biddick Titans.

This is the first time in over a decade that Coach Bell has been in front of the disciplinary committee. Coach Carl Thompson will be at the helm for the next game against Whickham Spartans on Tuesday 27th September with tip-off at 7:15 pm
