1. Our Club, Your Venue
Carlisle Rugby Club is fast becoming the in-demand sporting venue for Social and Corporate events.
Our Club boasts an impressive sporting heritage, dating back to the formation of the club in 1873. The Club's rich tapestry of historical artifacts meet with chic modern furnishings; where plush leather furniture is watched over by the jerseys of England's early sporting heroes. Following the great Carlisle floods of 2005, the clubhouse was part of the biggest rebuild in the club's history, and was a perfect opportunity for the modernising of the bar.
Our two large and well-serviced bar areas, 'Burnett's Bar' and the 'Swarbrick Suite', are extremely versatile and have been used to great fanfare for Christenings, Funerals, Christmas parties and Birthday celebrations.

Conferencing
We offer conferencing facilities with a choice of rooms and packages available.
You can choose to have basic refreshments, a buffet or even a hot meal for your event.
Training areas can be set up for you to do demonstrations or training.
The Swarbrick suite boasts a large projector screen that can be utilised for presentations and training, flip-charts and pens can be supplied on request.
Catering
We offer a wide variety of refreshment and catering options, from continental breakfasts to three course dinners, with budgets to suit. Please get in touch for further details. Dietary and allergy requirements can be catered for on request. Vegetarian and vegan options available.
