The Crusaders travelled to Millom with 14 men but came away with their heads held high .
Leading for 35 minutes of the first half with a try by Nich Lockyer, Millom scored in the last 5minutes to make it 5-5 at halftime.
Millom upped the ante after the restart scoring 5 early tries in the second half. However Carlisle finished strongly with tries from Douglas Quayle and Neil McGill, Vince Lung kicked the goals.
Geoff Grieves commented afterwards " The lads who traveled gave it their all, and I'm sure if we had a full team and subs we would have won."
After three games on the road, the Crusaders are at home next weekend against Keswick.
