Aaron is moving on after four seasons at Stoke Lane following his move to Manchester last September. Toby is moving to Spain and Tyler's work commitments prevent him from re-signing.
All three players have been superb in their time at Carlton. Toby, like Aaron, joined in 2018-19, making his debut in a 2-1 home defeat against Frickley. Since then he has gone on to establish himself as one of the most promising centre-halves in the league and has been a regular starter under Wayne Scott and Mark & Tommy. He's also popped up with the odd goal including the header following Nat Watson's rabona against Loughborough Dynamo this season.
Tyler came to club along with Tommy & Mark in the summer of 2019 and made his debut in the first game of the 2019-20 season, an FA Cup defeat at Barton Town. He was also a regular starter at left back or left midfield over the last three seasons and also notched some important goals, including a brace in the 4-2 win at Ilkeston on Boxing Day 2019.
Aaron is quite simply a Carlton Town legend. He joined in the summer of 2018 and made his debut in the opening day win at Tadcaster, scoring the second in a 2-0 win with a delightful free kick into the top corner.
Since then he has been more or less an automatic choice at centre forward. He is an outstanding striker at this level who on his day is simply too good for opposition defenders, who generally resort to hacking him down. He can quite plainly play higher in the pyramid and has had numerous offers over the years to do exactly that. His loyalty to the Millers has been unwavering and he is a firm fans favourite, particularly with the mini-Millers.
Carlton have had some superb strikers over the years - Phil Bignall, Steve Chaplin, Neil Grayson to name but three - and Aaron will be spoken about in those terms for many years to come by those of us privileged to have seen him play in blue and yellow.
We wish Tyler, Toby and Aaron every success in their future ventures on and off the pitch and all three are extremely welcome back at Stoke Lane any time. Indeed, all three will play one final match for Carlton in next week's charity game on 22 May. We will have a chance to give them an appropriate send off with our gratitude for their efforts for the Millers over the last few years.
To the three of you - thanks for everything.
