Carlton return to league action after a successful second half demolition of Barton Town in the FA Cup at the weekend. The Millers smashed the Swans for six and therefore arrive at University Stadium full of confidence. Ewan Robson is, perhaps unexpectedly, the player in the best goalscoring form with three in the last two games but Liam Moran is also in the goals with two in two.
Loughborough, having lost to Barton Town in the previous round of the cup already this year, are struggling in the early exchanges of the season. After an opening day draw with Wellingborough Town, the Scholars have lost both games since. A 2-1 defeat against Belper Town a week ago and a disappointing 4-2 loss at the weekend to Rugby Borough, a game in which they took the lead.
With the bank holiday fixtures on the horizon a win here for either side gives real opportunity to make some headway in the league table.
