Items approved following AGM

A revised version of the constitution will be sent out to all members in due course but following the AGM the following has been approved.

WOMEN'S CRICKET REPRESENTATIVE
The deputy committee position 'women’s officer' as per clause 7.3 in the constitution has been changed to 'women's cricket representative'.

The position of 'women's cricket representative' has been added to the list of officers on the Senior Management Committee in clause 7.2

TRUSTEES
The following sections have been added to the constitution:

17.0 TRUSTEES

17.1 The number of trustees shall be four and shall hereafter be maintained at four.

17.2 A trustee shall be nominated and appointed by the SMC with a proposer and seconder by any member of the club.

17.3 A trustee may be an officer of the SMC, provided there is unanimous agreement of all SMC officers of their appointment.

17.4 A trustee is not automatically classified as a member of the club but is eligible for membership as defined by clause 5.0 Classes of Membership.

17.5 A trustee shall hold office until death, resignation or removal from office by majority resolution of the SMC under extenuating circumstances (e.g. misconduct, ill health etc).

17.6 The property of the club is vested in the trustees (with the exception of cash which is under control of the treasurer) being held in their names upon trust for the use and benefit of the club.

17.7 The trustees shall deal with the property of the club as directed by resolution of the SMC, of which the club's minutes shall be considered conclusive evidence.

17.8 The trustees shall be indemnified against losses, costs, damages or any other expenses out of the club property.

17.9 All trustees will be required to provide signed approval for the disposal of property and land if the club is dissolved as per clause 21.3

17.10 The SMC reserves the right to amend the role of trustees with unanimous resolution.

21.0 DISSOLUTION

21.3 The SMC will then be responsible for the orderly winding up of the club’s affairs. Signed approval from all of the club's trustees must be obtained for disposal of club property and land.
