Carmel ladies made a positive start to their second season against league winners Bethesda and a very strong Llandudno side.

Firstly, it was Llandudno at 11am, where Carmel won the toss against Llandudno and elected to field.

Katie and Carol both took wickets with Katie also taking a great catch. There was some great fielding from all, especially Ella and Suzi as wicket keeper.

There was also some excellent bowling from the rest of the team to restrict a strong Llandudno side. Some good potential showed with the bat by all players.

At 1pm, it was time for Carmel to face Bethesda where Carmel lost the toss against Bethesda and batted first.

Newcomers Jennie and Lizzie join this game with Lizzie showing potential with the bat. Carol took 3 wickets early in the game with another wicket going to Amy later on.

Once again the fielding and bowling were excellent by all.

It was a great team effort by all players showing a huge improvement and potential for the rest of the season.
