Our longstanding and most loyal player has achieved the remarkable feat of taking 2000 wickets for Carmel and District CC.

Dafydd has been with us since he was a teenager and has no doubt experienced the ups and downs of the club during his time with us but he's stayed loyal to the club and provided a fine example to young bowlers the importance of consistency and perseverance. Dafydd has completed this feat even after having a replacement knee, an event that may well have meant the end of playing for many.

The club is extremely proud of Dafydd and grateful for the service he has given.

It's difficult to see such an achievement being matched at any club in the North Wales league let alone Carmel.
