In light of cricket's impending return following the relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions the North Wales Cricket League have issued a statement regarding the revised fixtures for the season.

As soon as more information is made available to the club it will be published on the website and via social networks.

The NWCL statement said: "No decision has been made regarding a starting date for games. Until we receive an email from Cricket Wales we will not be making any decisions.

"The league management have arranged a full meeting (Virtual) for July 13th next where we will be able to discuss the feedback from clubs following the survey and the proposals sent from Lucy Norman earlier this week.

"We will also be able to look at the guidelines for scorers and umpires from the ECB.

"Some clubs have not been able to do much training to date and will need time to prepare their wickets and also to prepare their pavilions. Please make sure you see the latest pages sent from the ECB.

"There is still a lot to be done to make sure that clubs are ready to go as soon as we get the green light."
