Carmel 1st XI continued to struggle with the bat in a 97-run loss to Northop.
Stand-in skipper Danny Owens inserted the hosts after winning the toss in overcast conditions.
Northop posted 189-6 from their 40 overs with Lee Rowles the standout bowler with 3-42 from nine overs as wicketkeeper Ryan Roberts chalked up two stumpings.
Oliver Saynor (1-45) and Owens (1-24) were the other wicket-takes for the visitors while Dafydd Bailey claimed a run out.
Opener Bailey led the way with the bat as he scored 24 but only Matt Isgar (14) and Ben Davies (14) managed to fire in the middle order.
Nick Hughes' cameo (12) provided a glimmer of hope but Carmel were rolled for 92 in 29.3 overs.
