Carniny Amateur and Youth FC football development centre staff ran a SKILLS SESSION at Carnhill Playing Fields on Saturday past as a perequisite to the centre starting its series of ten weekly sessions on the 21st September, 2019 at St Louis Grammar School. The Skills Session was free of charge to those taking part and will be held again this Saturday afternoon (14th September ) from 2pm to 3pm at Carnhill for children born in 2013 and 2014 and is open to anyone interested in playing football and not just club members.
This is a great opportunity for parents to judge if their child is actually interested in the sport before committing unnecessarily to any financial outlay. All children must wear footwear for playing on grass, have shin guards, clothing for weather conditions of the day and have a bottle of water.
The centre when it commences is sponsored by Robinson's NISA Supermarket who have been generous supporters of the club since its inception in the year 2000. The club wish to thank Robinson's as well as franchise manager Gary Olphert who are always committed to supporting the local community. The club would also wish to thank Mr Kade O'Reilly the manager of the local McDonalds restaurant who provided coffee and buns for all the parents on Saturday
