Carniny started well and took the lead in the early on when Peacock scored in the first minute. After 16 minutes Albion equalised before Peacock lobbed a second after 23 minutes to regain the lead for Carniny. On 29 minutes Logan scored for Carniny to make it 3-1 for the reds before Albion pulled another back just on half time.

Just into the second half Peacock completed his hat trick to make it 4-2 before a Graham volley made it 5-2. Carniny started to dominate with Duff , Scullion and McAvoy prominent in midfield and with 10 minutes remaining Moody beat the offside to make it 6-2 before in the final minutes Graham scored to complete a good day for Carniny at 7-2.
