MATCH REPORT

Carniny started the game the game well against Saintfield and after some quick attacking football took the lead with a great strike from Sam Percy. Carniny continued to attack and got their second goal when a Kaiden Gallagher shot was turned into his own net by a Saintfield defender. Saintfield were gifted a way back into the game when Carniny failed to deal with a ball into the box which was slotted into the bottom corner from close range.

The second half was end to end with Carniny missing some glorious chances and nearly paid the price when keeper Colby Davidson was harshly judged to have brought down the Saintfield striker. Justice was done when the subsequent penalty hit the post and was cleared to safety. Some great defending by man of the match Harvey Mills and his partner in crime Craig Galloway along with a great one on one save by Davidson kept the score at 2 - 1. Very entertaining game.
