The U13s repeated their 5-2 scoreline this week with a win over Antrim Rovers on Friday night
Great game from the boys who played some excellent football at times especially in the second half. A penalty from Matthew McDonald put Carniny ahead before Rovers equalised before the interval and a couple of great saves from the Rovers keeper assured the score remained 1-1. Harry Barr scored in the first minute of the second half with a neat finish to put Carniny ahead then McDonald made it 3-1. Ewart made it 4-1 from a great Stirling cross before Rovers pulled one back to make it 4-2. The best goal of the day was kept to last when a McCaughey free kick from 20 yards made the final score 5-2. Good performances from Shields and Ewart in defence whilst Sittlington in goal was outstanding.
