15s BACK TO LEAGUE ACTION WITH WIN

Carniny resumed their league campaign travelling to North Belfast and it was a dour struggle for the first 18 minutes but Carniny opened the scoring after 19 minutes when some great one touch let Byrne break through and score. Two minutes later Ryan Clarke made it two nil. North Belfast were dangerous but Kian Devine marshalled his defence of Hanna Duddy D Hanna and Kelly kept them at bay. Carniny made it three nil when Clarke scored again just before halftime.

The second half saw North Belfast push for a goal but the Carniny midfield of McCaughey Young Byrne and Kennedy were matching them North Belfast did pull one back and moments later made it 3-2 but credit to all the lads they dug deep and when Ryan Clarke broke through and scored in the 68th minute the game was done and dusted
