Carniny Amateurs were out of sorts against a strong Oxford Utd U10 colts team on Saturday. Oxford took the lead in the first minute with a well worked goal giving Kyal Rainey in goals no chance. Carniny tried hard to establish themselves in the game playing some good passing football but were unable to find a way through the resolute Oxford defence. Carniny battled well throughout the game though just could not find an answer to the clinical Oxford finishing. James Robinson managed to pull a goal back for Carniny but it was a case of too little too late.
