10s AMATEURS IMPRESS AT SHOWGROUNDS

Performance of the day came from Carniny Amateurs against North End. Mason Bankhead in nets made a string of fine saves, while Joel Gilchrist and John Richmond in defence broke down any North End attacks at every opportunity. In midfield, James Andrews and Shaun Scullion controlled the midfield and managed to score a few goals each while also finding the time to provide the supply to Mattias Beatty and Jayden Allan who both couldn't stop scoring. As Carniny kept pushing forward they did leave opportunities for North End to come back into the game which they did on numerous occasions which created probably one of the most high scoring matches of the day. Aside from the score, some of the passing and movement of the Carniny team was a joy to watch.
