A very good game between two of the stronger teams in the competition. Carniny again improved on the performance from the previous week. Oliver Rawle making his first appearance in Coleraine made a couple of good saves and had no chance with a penalty that was awarded in the first half. So many of Carniny’s good performances start with the two at the back. McCauley Shields and Joshua Orr where once again strong in the tackle, made great blocks and started so many attacks with their great passing and accurate throw ins. Mathew McDonald and Oliver Duddy in midfield where again very strong in midfield. Both win the ball back with brilliant work rate and tough tackling then charge forward with it to great effect. They where helped out by Jamie Black who was switching between midfield and attack. Also hard working but this week his passing was outstanding and he was constantly finding and creating chances for Mathew Ewart and Scott Kerr up front. Again the two up front where dangerous all match Mathew with his trickery and Scott with his direct running. Both where again rewarded with goals. Mathew poking home from close range after a bit of a scramble and Scott scoring with a great strike from distance. Keep up the good work boys.
