History


The club was formed in 1972 and play at Hope Sports Centre. The club was named after the local Comprehensive School.

In 1973/74 the club gained its first honours winning the Division 4 League and Cup. They also won the Horace Wynne Cup.

'Castey' gained promotion to the Premier Division in 1997 after completing a League and Cup double in Division One, and in their first season finished a creditable fourth place and secured the League Cup against Gresford Athletic at the Racecourse.
