Last week CCRFC members were busy at the Bath & west Show, with over 21 volunteering at the show. The volunteers spent a full week on site assisted in all manners of things, from stewarding the Show Jumping to Live music stages plus much more. We would like to give a massive well done and thank you, for all the hard work and more importantly representing CCRFC at the show. As a result of their hard work, the Club will receive a donation from the organisers. This will no doubt go a long way towards the future of CCRFC.

This week ahead see’s the Annual K7’s Tournament being held at CCRFC between the 10th-12th of June. This year over 11 men’s and 6 women’s teams will compete for the K7’s Titles. the event has been confirmed as the last one for the foreseeable future so we want to make it the best we have ever had.

The Theme this year is Disney, so no doubt we will see a few Princesses, Princes and a Ogre or 2, showing off their skills both on and off the pitch. The fun doesn’t just happen on the pitch, with loads of games and completions for all to take part in over the weekend. There will also be day and night time entertainment, food and drink on offer thought-out.

Friday 10th June;
Campsite will be open in the afternoon,
Bar will open at 17:00,
From 18:00 hot and cold food will be on offer,
The bar will close late into the evening.

Saturday 11th June;
08:30-11:00 Breakfast,
09:30 Team registration and tournament draw,
10:00 K7’s opens with the Kay Brooker Memorial Game, Moody Cows Vs Slingbacks,
10:15 Pool Stages commence and continue throughout the day for all gender and age groups,
19:30 Evening entertainment begins and the Disney fun can begin
20:30 Special Presentation,
21:00 Live music from Kush,
23:00 Disco late into the night.

Sunday 12th June;
09:00-11:00 Breakfast,
11:00 Cup and Shield Competitions commence,
13:00 K7’s Women’s Final
13:30 K7’s Men’s Final
14:00 Presentation and close of the Tournament.

It looks to be a great weekend full of Rugby, Games, Food, Entertainment and Sparkles, so get yourself down over the weekend.
