Last Ever K7's a Huge Success

Over the weekend of the 10-12th June hundreds of Players descended on Castle Cary RFC for their annual K7's Tournament. Despite being the last K7's, Castle Cary RFC were determined to make it the best ever held.

The theme this year was Disney Characters which saw players and supporters in fancy dress throughout the tournament. From Buzz Light-year to the complete Jamaican Bobsleigh team with sled, it was the stuff of fairy tales and imagination.

On the pitch both Male and Female teams competed for several different titles. The standard of rugby was as expected of the highest quality, with teams competing over the two days.

Despite being the last every K7's the event was a huge success and will be hugely missed by everyone. It was a hard decision but one the club took a lot of time over, they would like to thank everyone players, volunteers and staff from over the years who have player their part in making it such a success.
