Castleford and Featherstone Rugby League Referee Society have proudly provided the RFL with grade 1 referees for almost 40 years with the likes of: Russell Smith (international Referee 2004), Ray Tennant (international honours and Challenge Cup Final), Steve Presley (Challenge Cup final) and current Super League Referee Ben Thaler amongst others.

We have many officials at multiple Graded Levels within the RFL system, including:

Cameron Worsley (Full Time Match Official)
Andy Sweet (Grade 1)
Joe Stearne (Grade1)
Connor Astbury (Grade 2)

Our Junior Match Officials have also been recognised and awarded BARLA and Yorkshire Junior RL Cup final roles, as well as Wembley Schools finals appearances as Referee's and Touch judges.
