At the beginning of 2012, planning permission was granted by Mid Suffolk District Council for the final phase of the Cedars Park housing development in Stowmarket.

Cedars Park Football Club were highly involved with the planning and pre-construction work associated with the Community Centre, in conjunction with the Cedars Park Residents Association and the Cedars Park CIC.

The centre opened in May 2013, with the first football game taking place between Cedars Park FC and AFC Hoxne on Sunday 22nd June, and around 1,000 people attending a charity game between Ipswich Town Legends and Norwich Legends.

The 2014/15 season will be the first season that football takes place at the centre, with our First and Reserve teams both playing their home fixtures there.
