Calling all boys and girls aged 4 to 5 years old – join us at Kilkenny Lane for some football fun!

Carterton FC is pleased to announce that it will begin its mini soccer coaching sessions on Saturday mornings. Working in partnership with the Oxfordshire Football Association, the club will run a dedicated program of fun football skill sessions under the supervision of qualified coaches.

Sessions will start at 11am and will run for up to an hour with a £2 per player cost. The club will have at least two FA coaches running the program and will also be hoping to provide refreshments for parents and carers.

Most of the sessions will take place on the grass training pitch where there is an assortment of goals, training cones, and skill courses. However, if the weather is bad the club are very fortunate to be able to switch sessions to the indoor futsal facility which will allow for small sided games and team activities.
The focus is always that youngsters have fun & get an introduction to basic football skills and also experience team play with an emphasis on an all-inclusive and safe environment.

All coaches are FA licensed, hold a minimum of a FA Level 1 coaching qualifications, with some qualified at FA Level 2 with additional FA youth module credentials. Further, coaches have in date FA criminal record check, and valid emergency aid & safeguarding children certificates. More information on safeguarding and the club health & safety policy can be found in the documents section under the information tab on the CFC website.
