Chadderton Football Club is a semi-professional football club based in Oldham. The first team is a member of the North West Counties League Division One North and the reserves and Elite Development Squads (“EDS”) are members of the Manchester Football League.
Due to the EDS manager stepping up the reserve team manager role we are currently accepting applications for the position of EDS manager.
After winning promotion last season the EDS are in the top half of the league and in the semi final of the county cup.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and develop the current squad, with a focus on development of players to the reserve and first teams
Work closely with the first and reserve team manager regarding matches, training and player availability
Plan and deliver weekly training sessions in-line with the club philosophy and playing principles
At times deliver coaching sessions across the whole club (e.g. pre-season)
Take responsibility of game day duties and logistics regarding match day kit, travel, first aid and squad selection
Available for training and matches which take place on Thursdays 8-9pm and match days 2pm on Saturday.
Work with the club secretary regarding player registrations, team sheets, fines and match day costs.
A minimum FA Level 1 coaching qualification is required for this role along with current emergency aid and safeguarding.
