CCRFC Mini & Junior Funds Boosted by Festival

The 8th Belbroughton Beer Festival took place during the first weekend in September and attracted some 20,000 visitors to the village to enjoy music, entertainment, and of course to sample beers, ciders, and wines from all over the country.

In charge of organisation and fundraising for the event, one of our "Rugby Dads", Scott Macdonald asked that Chaddesley Corbett RFC via sponsorship from The Swan, would send a barrel of Bathams to the event in return for some free promotion of our club.

The event was hugely successful and the weather couldn't have been better over the weekend. Our barrel of beer was the first to sell out, it being very popular locally.

We have to say a massive thank you to Mark at The Swan for his generous donation of the beer to the event, and to Scott for getting our flyer printed on the programme.

Scott has emailed to say that the event is giving £200 to the minis and juniors from the profits made at the festival. The festival supports many local groups via financial donations, and CCRFC are both proud to support, and grateful to be benefiting this year.
