On Sunday 8 February Chaddesley U11's hosted Stourbridge U11's. We played two games, the first of which we lost 3-2 after a slow start by Chaddesley, giving away 2 easy tries within minutes. This was a wake-up call for the boys, and what a game it turned out to be! Stourbridge came with a strong "development" team who thought they were going to roll us over, and what a shock they got! Chaddesley dug deep and showed the determination and commitment we always knew they could, working together as a team with fantastic organisation and communication to chase the score down to within one try.

And things only got better with a great win in the second game! For me, the best part of this game was when Stourbridge were camped on our try line and Chaddesley fought back with an unbelievable defensive line. Even though Stourbridge scored in the end, they had a battle on their hands, with it taking them 11 or 12 attempts before they finally got over the line. A massive effort boys to keep putting that attack on the deck.

Particularly outstanding players were Lawson, Joe, Will, Ben, Oliver and Bailey, with Will being awarded Player of the Match in both games. However, it has to be said that the whole team played brilliantly!!

Finally, I would like to pass on to the team the great feedback I received after the games from all the coaches and parents. Well done everyone!
