The Sports Pavillion contains 2 team changing rooms and a referees changing room all with showers. There are also several equipment stores for kit and machinery.
In 2012 the Sports Club recieved a Sports England Grant to refurbish the Pavillion.
The Prime Minister visited Chadlington Sports Club in his Witney constituency to celebrate Sport England’s investment to improve the club’s facilities. Over £25,000 the Inspired Facilities Olympic and Paralympic legacy fund will be used to renovate the club’s changing rooms, replace the leaking roof and upgrade the 30-year-old showers.
Chadlington Club Treasurer Paul Duester said “We are delighted to receive this funding which will allow us to address some major deficiencies with our current changing rooms. It’s wonderful to see the Olympic legacy coming to life in our community.”
The Prime Minister, David Cameron said Chadlington Sports Club is a fantastic example of the sort of volunteer-led sports clubs that we need to see right across the country. For a relatively small village it provides a huge number of opportunities for children in Chadlington itself and all the surrounding villages to enjoy competitive sport and receive an excellent training at the same time.
“The club thoroughly deserve its award from Sport England which will modernise the changing rooms and which I know from my own experience are in need an overhaul!"
