In the second half, Kevin Mulhearn scored for the second week running and Ollie Jordan completed the scoring with a goal with 10 minutes to go. Jordan who must be one of the quickest players in the league had not stopped running all game and his goal was a fitting reward.

At the other end another clean sheet was secured as keeper Josh Betts pulled of a number of fine saves. This was his third clean sheet of the season and he is improving every week.

The whole team were impressive throughout, and were clearly enjoying their football. They showed no signs of the pressure of being top of the table.

The Reserves also extended their lead at the top of the table to 5 points as other results in the league went their way. Kingham Reserves lost to in form Wootton Reserves and Stonesfield Res drew 5-5 with FC Ascott. They can now win the league next week if they beat Stonesfield Reserves away and Bampton Reserves fail to beat Wootton Reserves.
