This gave lads the opportunity to get some much needed game time just before the short Christmas break.
It was a good workout against a Streetly side full of enthusiasm and energy who had good spells in the game, this was a terrific learning experience for them.
Tom Covell opened the scoring converting a Jermaine Akinbiyi right wing cross at the far post.
Chasetown created numerous chances but found Streetly keeper Joe Price a constant barrier with some good saves, Rackeem Reid, Jermaine Akinbiyi, Jake Turner, Ollie Hayward, Niall Small and Tom Covell all going close.
At half time, Kamran Chaudary, Alex Lowe and Cameron Fergusson were introduced replacing Robbie Duffield (returning from injury), Ollie Hayward and Jamie Fox all of which can be pleased with their workout.
Jamie Fellows made it 2-0 with a fine piece of individual work scoring from 25 yards, Jamie has a fine game and is showing what a good player he is of late after a frustrating period of illness and injuries, Tom Covell helped himself to another well taken goal from an acute angle, Tom recently received his international clearance a very timely Christmas present we now hope Tom starts the new year with a bang.
Luke Jones made it 4-0 converting a left wing cross from Tom Covell, this is a real bonus for Luke as he's working hard at his game and getting on the scoresheet was just reward.
Streetly rallied scoring 2 well taken goals in quick succession giving Ellis Hunkins very little chance to keep them out.
Rackeem Reid scored a well deserved goal and arguably scoring the goal of the game with some good passing and movement, Jamie Fellows being the architect of the goal playing Rackeem in on goal for him to slot under the keeper from 15 yards.
A good workout for the lads and nice to see the work we do in training being transferred by everyone onto the pitch.
