Pitching In at the Scholars Ground

We are pleased to say that work has begun being undertaken on the playing surface.

The work carried out was :-

40 tonnes of sand applied to the pitch as a top dressing
The pitch has been aerated
The pitch has been listed and new seed has been sown all over pitch, particularly on the areas showing the most wear and tear.

The FA have agreed a grant of £1,500 to many clubs for this purpose, which we have applied for, as a contribution towards the cost.
