Chasetown FC opens new stand funded by the Premier League.

Chasetown Football Club are delighted to announce that the club’s new 330-seater grandstand will be officially opened on Saturday, 3rd December at the game versus Boldmere St Michaels (1pm kick off), thanks to investment from the Premier League.

The Premier League Stadium Fund is the largest provider of grants towards projects that help improve the comfort and safety of lower-league football grounds in the country. It awards capital grants to eligible English Football League, English National League System, and Women's Football Pyramid and Welsh Premier League clubs to improve stadium safety and enable clubs to satisfy The FA’s ground-grading requirements.

After receiving a £67,893 grant from the Fund, work started on the site in October 2022. The project was supported by an additional £14,097 from the Club themselves and £15,000 from the Club’s Supporters’ Club.

The Premier League grant has enabled Chasetown FC, who compete in Northern Premier League Division One Midlands at Step 4, to build a new grandstand, which will enhance the match day experience for both home and visiting supporters to The Scholars Ground.
