Ryan Wynter headed home a first half free kick and Danny O'Callaghan headed home a second half corner as Chasetown set up an away tie with Boldmere on Saturday 24th.
After a minute's silence for Queen Elizabeth II, Chasetown started with early pressure with Jack Langston striking a shot at the home keeper.
Chasetown took the lead when a free kick was taken by Kris Taylor and met by the head of defender Ryan Wynter.
The Scholars went close when Danny O’Callaghan looped the ball forward to Joey Butlin who’s cross deflected off a defender back to the waiting O'Callaghan but the effort went wide.
Another chance went begging in the second half when Taylor looped the ball in and O'Callaghan tried to sneak it past the keeper but he claimed the ball.
The lead was doubled when a corner from Taylor was swung to captain O'Callaghan who thumped in with a powerful header.
The Daniels pulled one back when Jon Challinor headed home but it was too little too late.
The Scholars will now advance to the 2nd qualifying round when they face Boldmere St Michaels away on the 24th of September.
