Chessington KCFC started off life in the early 1970's as a group of guys attending Chessington Evangelical Church and decided to form a football team.
It's early days were played in the Southern Area Christian Football League against other churches in the area and this proved to be very successful, attracting new players year upon year.
In 1997 the church built a new building to accommodate its growing congregation (The King's Centre) and the football team started playing as Chessington KCFC in the Kingston & District league.
It's success as a football club has continued on and off the pitch, winning many titles and competitions including all the big Surrey knockout competitions and it now has 4 teams playing at different levels of football.
The 1st team play in the Surrey Elite Intermediate Football League and their home games are played at Kingston University Sports Ground.
The 2nd & 3rd team play in the Surrey South Eastern Combination (Junior Division 1 & Division 5) and their home games are played at Chessington Cricket Club.
The 4th team have just become a Vets team and they play in the Southern Area Christian Football League Vets Division. Their home games are played at
King Edwards Recreation Ground.
