Congratulations to Alex Kegg who has received a commendation from the ECB for his work at Chester.
As we know, Alex has been preparing pitches and training facilities for Lancashire CCC here at Chester alongside his 'day job' for the last two years.
We're constantly thanked for his considerable input but it's great to hear it from Lancashire CCC and the ECB.
Matt Merchant from Lancashire CCC won the top ground manager for the third time and in thanking him, Mark Chiltern, Director of Cricket Performance at Lancashire CCC also said "I would also like to mention Alex Kegg at Chester Boughton Hall who has been commended by the ECB for outgrown cricket.
"Over the last 18 months Lancashire's men and women's teams have trained in Chester and they have provided us with some great pitches there. We thank him for all his hard work and efforts."
