Important information for all members and guests visiting our clubhouse.

Note: The Club is operating a booking only service this weekend, 4/5 July. There is extremely limited availibility for Saturday but good availability for Sunday. it is not anticipated that you'll need to book Monday - Thursday evenings (open from 6pm). Contact number is 07766 331103.

Chester Boughton Hall Cricket Club Re-opening booking conditions from 4 July 2020

The Board of Directors of Boughton Hall CC Limited is very pleased to welcome all members (BHCC and Nomads) back to the clubhouse from 4 July 2020, subject to the following conditions and guidelines.

We respectfully ask that members and guests read this document carefully prior to entry, and follow the booking conditions at all times. We need to make sure that you enjoy yourselves responsibly, in line with our very reasonable requests to continue to follow all government guidance. This is for your own safety as well as that of your family, friends and guests, our staff and all connected with CBHCC.

Booking conditions:

• The clubhouse is open to members and guests (M&G) only; members are expected to have paid their 2019/20 membership fees, have joined as a social member or made a donation in lieu of membership.
• M&G must have read and agree to all these conditions and agree to comply with all government personal hygiene and social distancing requirements at all times.
• The lead member is responsible for the safety and behaviour of their party, including children and guests. Children must be supervised at all times.
• Failure to follow the conditions of use and/or government requirements will result in members and/or their guests being asked to leave. Future bookings may be cancelled and club membership revoked if M&G behaviour is deemed to be persistently inappropriate.
• Please do not come to the club if you feel unwell.
• A table booking is required to gain entry as limited capacity numbers are in place.
• Tables must be pre-booked through Adam Roberts (bar manager).
• The maximum number of persons per booking is six.
• Two households may share a larger table provided social distancing is maintained between the households.
• You can request to be seated next to another household but tables cannot be joined.
• Contact details (name, telephone number, email and names of guests) will be required.
• Social distancing and enhanced hygiene procedures are in place throughout the clubhouse, including a one-way system for toilet queues. Reduced numbers are allowed in the toilets at any one time.
• All patrons must follow government guidelines for hand washing and respiratory etiquette. All persons should wash their hands before leaving home and regularly whilst on the premises, especially after having been to the toilet, touching your face/mouth or coughing/sneezing.
• We encourage you to wear a face-mask when not seated at your table, i.e. in transit (particularly if you are travelling on public transport), on arrival, when going to the toilet and when leaving.
• Hand sanitizer will be provided, but we also encourage you to bring your own for your household.
• Please arrive at the front door and either make your way upstairs or through the building to the outside terrace. Entry from the playing areas/back stairs is not permitted.
• There is no bar service, all drinks and food must be ordered from your table and will be served to you at your table.
• Please refrain from moving around the clubhouse and moving furniture (tables/chairs) in order to maintain a distance of one metre from members of other households at all times
• You cannot join other tables.
• Our staff have been through ‘Return to Work’ training and are here to ensure you have an enjoyable time. These reopening conditions are in place to protect their safety as much as your own.
• Staff will wear PPE as appropriate for their job role
• All staff have a responsibility to ensure social distancing and personal hygiene requirements are followed, so please adhere to any requests they make.
• The clubhouse, bar and kitchen areas have been subject to stringent cleaning procedures and staff will clean high touch points during service. If you are concerned about the cleanliness of any area of the clubhouse, please alert a member of staff.
• Glasses will be cleaned in line with government guidelines.
• Food will be served in disposable trays.
• Certain facilities will not be in operation (pool table, dart board) and some facilities with limitations (music on reduced volume).
• Payment should be contactless/chip & pin. Cash payments are discouraged
