Chester were left frustrated against Toft as they ran out of overs trying to force victory at Filkins Lane.
For the second time this season, Chester found themselves one wicket short of victory as Toft closed on 182-9, 75 runs short of Chester's total.
The match featured two Lancashire players with Rob Jones in the Toft side and Jordan Clark lining up for Chester.
In form Rick Moore (84) shone in Chester's 257-8 total which at one stage looked to be heading for 300 plus. At 146-1, the home side were in control but the shackles were put on the middle order as Matty Cornes took 5-62. Chester rallied after a rain delay but Will Owen made 64 and the total still looked reasonable.
And with Toft reduced to 60-5, Chester were in the driving seat. It was stubborn Ed Stubbs (49) and Andy Bones (57) who held up the charge as Jack Williams took 3-42 and there were two wickets apiece for Clark, Owen and Harry Killoran.
But Toft held out to deny Chester a third consecutive league victory and they had to settle for a winning draw.
It's back on the road next week to Marple.
