The big guns well and truly fired as Chester sunk Marple by 220 runs to go second in the ECB Cheshire Premiership.
Winning the toss, Warren Goodwin and Rick Moore tore into the Marple bowling, piling on 306-1 before declaring after just 47 overs.

Then enter in-form Jamie Crawley with a41 not out.
The declaration was worthy with 306-1 on the board and the Chester bowlers wasted no time in further tormenting the opposition. With the
dangerous Andrew Hall out early, wickets fell regularly, Andrew Paulett top scoring with 29 as Jack Williams spun himself 4-15, George McCormick 3-16 and Lloyd Aspen 2-29. Marple were all out for 86, Chester getting home by a mammoth 220 runs.
