After squeezing in six friendlies in nine days, Chester start their truncated league campaign with a T20 double header against Nantwich at Filkins Lane.
With clubs given the option of a 40/50 over game or two T20s, the default position is T20 and whilst Chester may prefer the longer game, both sides must agree to it.
Ultimately Rick Moore had to make some tough calls with his team selection but with the likes of Harry Killoran and jack Williams in form with bat and ball and the emergence of young Noah Vickery, his side has an exciting look.
It's difficult to get to grips with how things may pan out with the confusion around variable formats but it's always a big game when Chester take on Nantwich with the likes of Jimmy Warrington, Luke Robinson, Ollie Griffiths and Ryan Brown in their side. And you can be sure both sides will want to win - and win well.
Some of the players from both sides have experienced T20 double headers before - in minor counties cricket - and it's often one game each with the second game feeling a bit flat. We'll find out if that's the case.
All being well too, you'll be able to keep up tp date on You Tube through live streaming and on social media. No links with Dee Radio just at the moment with schedule changes due to the pandemic.
