The boys lined up alongside players from host club Culcheth Eagles and Rylands Sharks in a round-robin of three games, working well in defence with their new team-mates to keep the games tight.

Magic moments included Dylan Yearsley demonstrating fabulous scrum half skills as he distributed the ball in attack and it was great to see Reuben Swan Buchan taking charge at acting-half, directing his team-mates around the pitch.

Finley Bacon made some insightful passes from acting-half to move Chester rapidly up the field, Rafa Van Osselaer and Luke Johnson made evasive runs to each score in the corner. Reuben Swan Buchan topped things off with a long range kick to bag third place in the kicking competition.

It was a fun day for the Gladiators and we would like to thank Culcheth and Rylands for making it a success.
