The Mighty 3s welcome Didsbury Toc H 2nd XV to Fortress Hare Lane on Saturday 29th September. Chester will be looking for a win to keep up the pressure on unbeaten league leaders Helsby RUFC. The visitors have currently have a record of won one, drawn one and lost two with all games being very close, and they currently lie 10th in Division 2 South. Both sides recorded a win in the exchange fixtures last season with home advantage being key. Chester only sneaked home 29-26 at Hare Lane in January.
Never let it be said that this site isn't educational. Toc H refers to an International Christian Movement instigated in 1915 by the Reverend Phillip Clayton. A rest and recreation centre named Talbot House was founded at Poperinghe in Belgium. "Toc" signifies the letter T in the signals alphabet, hence Toc H stands for Talbot House.
