Having been chosen to play on the last remaining, playable pitch this Sunday, the U16s did their club proud by playing some of their best running rugby yet. They were leading 36-0 playing uphill & against the wind at half time and the only points not taken were from conversion on this very windy morning. Some of the offloads and running lines were superb and there was no let up for brave visitors from Gordano in this game.

After two Man of the Match performances in a row for Elliot Matthews, this one went to Sam Vowkes who put in some powerful bursts and made a great interception in the first half. True to his position as flanker, he was roaming the pitch from the off and took no prisoners.
