Sponsor the Club 1 of 3

1. Want to become a sponsor

Chichester RFC is a true Community Sports Club with Charitable Status offering Rugby to all, both in the senior sides and the Mini & Junior Section. We believe in great rugby, fun, friendship and respect.

The Club is pleased to work with local businesses and individuals who wish to support the Club in anyway they think appropriate and can be a benefit to both parties.

The Club operates five senior playing league rugby and an outstanding Mini & Junior section rated as a Beacon by the RFU at all age groups with over 500 members. Sponsorship can be geared to the whole Club or specific areas as required that will secure the best exposure for the Sponsor.

Sponsorship can take many forms, and we have listed some examples of financial support in the form of a Main Sponsor Package and Special Sponsorship options. However the Club is anxious to encourage professional support in areas such as Club refurbishment, Web site management etc.

Senior Rugby Success

The Club 1st XV currently plays in the National Leagues - National 3 South East. The 2nd XV plays teams at the equivalent level and with some teams from 2 levels above. The 3rd XV (Gladiators) play in Sussex League 1 with the 4ths (Hunns) play in Sussex 2 West League.

The 1st XV have twice been Sussex Trophy Champions and won promotion to the National Leagues in an exciting play-off match in April 2014.

We play an exciting 15 man style of rugby at a very high level of skill and fitness with tries-a-plenty.

The 2nd or Development XV were also winners of the Sussex Spifire Bowl beating Lewes 2nd XV in the final.

The 4th XV ( Hunns ) Play in the and finished in the top third.

Due to strength in players, last season we ran a 5th XV ( Barbarians ) with a full fixture list in the Sussex "Late Red' League 3 West.

Coaching structure

To support 5 senior sides we will continue with the existing and successful coaching structure that has bought success at all levels in recent years with coaches provided for every team under Paul Colley, Director of Rugby and Rob Lawrence, Head Coach.

The Club senior membership, both players and non players is currently over 200 and it is our intention to try to increase this in the coming season. Playing in the higher league should encourage more touchline support and general interest in the Club.

Mini & Junior Rugby Success

The Mini & junior sections is recognised as one of the best in the South of England. Continued success at all age groups has been achieved through excellent coaching skills. We have over 100 fully qualified coaches working with over 450 boys and girls. The Mini & Junior section has produced a numbers of players that have gone on to represent England and Scotland looking at the current standard of play, at all age groups, I am sure we will continue to produce excellent players.
