On Wednesday 27th of July, Chichester RFC held its Golf Day on the Park Course at Goodwood. It was a wonderfully hot, sunny day and the 28 participants enjoyed coffee and bacon rolls before teeing off. There was good humoured banter and lots of excellent golf played. The Longest Drive was won by Ben Bulpett, Nearest the Pin by Pete Grace and the best overall Stableford score of 42 won the day for Nick Higham.
On completion of the golf, everyone retired to Oaklands Pavilion for refreshments and the prize giving. We were delighted to have past Club President (2001-2010) and Honorary Life Member Alan Bradford attend, with his wife Claire, to present the prizes. The event raised £250 for the Injured Players Foundation. A great day!
Thank you to Nigel Creasey who organised the entire day and Jeremy Martell, and his team, who laid on post match food and drink at Oaklands Pavilion.
