Brighton College have set up a parent support group primarily to try and help key workers through these challenging times. However, they have had some unusual requests coming through from the Royal Sussex County Hospital, in Brighton. One of which was for two-way radios to help the nursing teams communicate between the zones that have been set up at the hospital, in response to COVID-19.
Walter Womersley, our M&J chairman, is a member of the parent support group. After a flurry of messages on the CRFC committee’s WhatsApp group the radio sets, used by the coaching teams and physios, were operational in the Royal Sussex County Hospital 24 hours later.
