CRFC U10s @ Saracens

The CRFC U10s where @ Saracens, for the Discipline & Humility Festival on Saturday 7th Jan 2017.

The three games played, where against Chinnor, Tabard Wanderers & Finchley.

The first game played was a fantastic demonstration the 'technical' skills the squad have been working on; being there offensive defence, and counter rucking. Offensively it was great to see all the squads training paying dividends. Final result 11 - 0 win to Chichester.
2nd Game; Tabard Wanderers - a Team the U10's meet the year before and literally had some 'unfinished' business to deal with, as the previous game was cut short due to something to do with the timings of a televised premiership match... that's another story. This was a much tougher match, with the CRFC U10's not giving up and and with their tenacity in defence and team work, lead to a win 3-0. After the match, a Tabard Wanderer parent, spoke to me asking who we where, so I explained, he then parted the news that this was the first defeat to the Tabard team; it truly was a great and gritty match to watch... reminds me of Cup matches in the past.
3rd Game vis Finchley, was a different affair to the 2nd game, with the U10's comfortably crossing the Finchley line 4 times, with Finchely not putting that much pressure on the U10's squad.
All in all a great day for the squad attending the festival, and with the Saracens -v Exeter match viewed from the West Stand and the VIP double decker bus, it was a great day all round.... only the singing on the coach on the way home was something to be forgotten - 'hey Ken!)
